I’m Suzana Sallak, I’m from Hebron- Palestine. I recently graduated from Birzeit University with a BA in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a minor in Business Administration. During my studies, I completed 160 hours of university practicum at Palestine Medical Complex Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in clinical nutrition, and have participated in the Middle Eastern Alliance of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Congress. I’m currently working at the Center for Freedom and Justice, a Palestinian non-profit organization based in Hebron.
Baba once mentioned how Palestinians were the patient dough of the Taboon. No matter how much we are kneaded, beaten, and stretched beyond our limits, our capacity for hope is supernatural. Taboon, even burnt beyond recognition, is still Taboon.
