Layla Mohamed is an editor at Cassava Republic Press, an independent press dedicated to amplifying Black voices. She primarily edits literary fiction and creative non-fiction, and has edited critically acclaimed and award-winning titles, including by Yewande Omotoso and Jumoke Verissimo. She has spoken on panels at Africa Writes and the Black British Book Festival (UK), and the LITERAL Festival (Spain).
