Syed Tajamul Imran

About

Syed Tajamul Imran is a Kashmir-based storyteller, former student activist, and columnist. He has written for many coveted media houses in South Asia, with a focus on armed resistance and rebellion, particularly in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir. Hailing from the south Kashmir valley, known as the home of Kashmiri rebels, Tajamul Imran is the founder and former president (till 2018) of the All J&K Students Union, a student organization that led the 2017 uprising in Jammu & Kashmir, where student activism and unions are banned by the Indian state.
